If you’ve ever found yourself spiraling in indecision…
Bouncing between plans…
Or endlessly researching the “best” way to lose weight, get back on track, or grow your business...

This episode is your wake-up call.

Because often, when things feel complicated — the real issue isn’t clarity.

It’s commitment.

💥 “Complexity often exists where we’re avoiding commitment.”

This episode will help you:

  • Spot the subtle ways you’re avoiding action in favor of overthinking

  • Identify how “insight mode” is keeping you stuck in theory instead of implementation

  • Break the pattern of starting and stopping because everything feels so overwhelming

  • Build the clarity that only comes from doing the thing — not endlessly trying to “figure it out”

We’ll also explore:

  • The powerful shift from “What’s the perfect path?” to “What will I commit to today?”

  • Why you can’t out-learn the effort you’re avoiding

  • How insight becomes a distraction when it’s not paired with action

This episode isn’t just a good listen — it’s your mirror.

🎧 Listen now and learn the difference between overthinking your way forward…
And actually following through.

Emotional Sobriety: The Missing Skill That Protects Your Consistency

🚪 Ready to take action? Join The Consistency Course

Most people think their inconsistency is a habit problem.
But what if it’s not?

What if the real issue is the thought that gives you permission to abandon your standard?

“I’m stressed.”
“It was a rough day.”
“I’ll get back on track tomorrow.”
“I deserve a break.”

These are not harmless thoughts.
They’re part of a permission structure...the way we justify quitting on ourselves.

In this episode, we’re introducing a concept called emotional sobriety and it might be the thing you’ve never been taught, but desperately need.

What You’ll Learn in This Episode:

  • Why most inconsistency is emotionally driven, not behavior-driven

  • The difference between responding and reacting and how to shift

  • What it means to live with emotional sobriety, and why it matters

  • How your feelings are real, but not reliable leaders

  • Why we say: “Too much sentiment, not enough substance”

  • The toddler tantrum framework (and how it applies to your goals)

  • Real client examples of emotional spirals that sabotage consistency

  • What to do when your story is incompatible with reality

“Your feelings can ride, but they can’t drive.”

If you’ve ever let stress, overwhelm, frustration, or boredom talk you out of your goals — this episode will show you what to do next.

“I was doing great… until I got sick.”
“It was a stressful day, so I blew it.”
“It’s the weekend. I’ll get back on track Monday.”

Sound familiar?

If you've ever felt like you're either "on" or "off," you're not alone — but that approach is keeping you stuck.
This episode breaks down one of the most important mindset shifts you'll ever make:

🧠 Consistency is not about staying “on.” It’s about staying in.

Here’s what you’ll take away from today’s episode:

  • The real reason your best intentions collapse when life gets busy, stressful, or unpredictable

  • Why chasing intensity isn’t the same as building consistency — and how to tell the difference

  • How to spot yellow flags in your mindset and habits before they derail your progress

  • What “dial thinking” looks like in real life — and how it changes everything

💡 We’ll also explore:

  • Why the “all or nothing” mindset leads to burnout

  • How to respond when motivation disappears

  • A simple (but powerful) way to stay engaged even when things don’t go as planned

🔁 If you're tired of starting over, this is your pivot point.

The Consistency Course is where you stop consuming and start executing.
It’s not just information — it’s weekly coaching, accountability, and real tools to help you turn this from an idea into a skill.

✅ Personalized weekly check-ins with Elizabeth
✅ Tactical tools for follow-through
✅ Progress that doesn’t rely on motivation or perfect conditions

You’ve probably said it before:

“I was doing great… until life got busy.”
“I messed up, so the whole day is shot.”
“I just can’t stay consistent.”

But what if you’re not struggling with consistency at all?

What if you’ve actually been chasing compliance — and that’s exactly why you keep starting over?

In this powerful kickoff to our 10-part Consistency Vault series, we’re exposing the hidden trap that’s keeping so many capable, motivated people stuck in the cycle of “on again, off again” progress.

Here’s what we cover:

  • Why compliance feels like consistency — and how to tell the difference

  • The single mindset shift that ends the cycle of starting over

  • What to do when you mess up (because you will)

  • Why most plans fail — even good ones — and how to make yours stick

💥 If you’ve ever felt like you’re the problem, this episode will show you:
You’re not broken.
Your approach is.

What if the key to becoming more confident, resilient, and self-respecting isn’t a big transformation... but a daily dose of hard?

In this episode, Elizabeth shares the powerful concept of microdosing hard — how to apply small, intentional challenges in your day to strengthen your mindset, discipline, and self-trust.

From parenting to personal development, you’ll learn how embracing discomfort can completely shift your trajectory. Plus, hear insights from real DEFENSE clients who’ve used these tools to get unstuck and start showing up like never before.

Whether it’s a cold shower, a tough conversation, or sitting in silence instead of numbing — microdosing hard might be the exact shift you didn’t know you needed.

🧠 What You’ll Learn:

  • How to raise confident, resilient kids (without rescuing them)

  • Why microdosing discomfort builds self-respect

  • The truth about “easy” choices — and how they keep us stuck

  • Real-life takeaways from DEFENSE clients

Modern anxiety isn’t just emotional. It’s chemical — and it’s being triggered and sustained by the way we’re living, consuming, and overstimulating ourselves every single day.

In this powerful, personal episode, Elizabeth pulls back the curtain on what’s really happening when we feel anxious for “no reason” — and shares the neurochemical truth about dopamine, oxytocin, cortisol, and inflammation.

If you’re constantly in your head, overwhelmed, overstimulated, or one step away from panic — this conversation will shift everything.

You’ll also hear the exact strategy Elizabeth is using to reclaim peace and presence in her everyday life — without deleting her business, becoming a monk, or pretending life isn’t loud and full.

💥 You’ll Learn:

  • How dopamine dysregulation leads to anxiety (even on “good” days)

  • The shocking impact of low oxytocin and high cortisol on your mood

  • How digital overstimulation mimics trauma and keeps your body stuck in fight-or-flight

  • Why stillness feels unsafe — and how to change that

  • Specific, realistic ways to reclaim mental clarity and calm without meds

  • The #1 boundary shift Elizabeth is making — and how it’s already helping

  • The power of short-term focus, discipline, and tightening your transitions

In today’s episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on something I didn’t fully realize was impacting me — and maybe it’s impacting you too.

If you’ve been feeling irritated, overwhelmed, scattered, or like you know what to do but just can’t seem to follow through, this episode will shift something major for you.

We’re talking about constant input — the slow, invisible overload that comes from podcasts, YouTube, group chats, Audible, social media… even the “positive” stuff like inspiration and education.

Because here’s the truth:

You’re not unmotivated. You’re overloaded.
And the more you consume, the harder it becomes to follow through.

We break down:

  • Why information overload kills your clarity and consistency

  • How this input creep drains not just your time, but your emotional energy

  • Why follow-through feels harder than ever (and what to do about it)

  • And how to create more space for peace, progress, and presence in your life

This isn’t about deleting your apps or doing a digital detox.
It’s about reclaiming your focus — so you can actually act on what you already know.

🎧 Listen now and give your brain the space it’s been craving.

In this fun and personal episode, I’m sharing what I actually want for Christmas this year — and spoiler alert: it’s not much “stuff.”

From a sauna hat and a flip phone to natural fiber underwear (yes, really), I’m walking you through the practical, intentional, and meaningful things I’m excited about this season. I’m also opening up about some deeper shifts — like why we’re keeping Christmas simple for the kids, what our upcoming bedroom swap means to me, and the kind of experiences I want to create around the dinner table.

You’ll also hear:

  • Why I’m buying myself a flip phone

  • How I’m thinking about “less is more” with kids’ gifts

  • The grain mill I can’t wait to use

  • What I want to create that can’t be wrapped

  • And why I’m leaning into connection over consumption this year

This episode is all about intentionality over impulse, presence over presents, and creating a holiday season that feels peaceful, simple, and aligned with the life I want to build.

If you’re feeling the pull toward less doing, more being this Christmas — this one's for you.

f you're eating healthy, working out, doing “all the things,” but still feel like your weight isn’t budging — you have to hear this.

In this episode, I’m walking you through one of the biggest (and most overlooked) blocks to weight loss: chronic, low-grade inflammation.

We’re going beyond the basics. This isn’t just “sugar is inflammatory” or “cut processed food.” We’re talking about the cumulative, daily impact of everything from your toothpaste to your sleep schedule, your stress, your gut, your hormones, and more.

🔥 Here’s what we cover:

  • What is inflammation — and what makes something inflammatory?

  • How chronic inflammation blocks fat loss (even with a good diet and exercise!)

  • Signs you’re inflamed (that have nothing to do with pain or swelling)

  • How long it takes to see and feel results from lowering inflammation

  • Subjective AND lab-based signs that you’re healing

  • My personal anti-inflammatory strategies, from milling flour to fiber, sauna, and sleep

  • What I’m not doing (like eliminating everything or living in fear)

“We can’t eliminate every inflammatory trigger. But we can lighten the load and give our bodies a real shot at healing.”

You’re not lazy. You’re not undisciplined. You’re not broken.
You’re just fighting against your environment—and it’s a losing battle.

In this episode, Elizabeth gets real about the truth we all feel but rarely talk about:

Your willpower will never beat your environment.

From overflowing mudrooms to cluttered kitchen counters, chaotic homes create chaotic minds—and chaotic minds make impulsive decisions. Sound familiar?

This episode dives into:

  • Why your space might be silently sabotaging your progress

  • How clutter triggers stress, reactivity, and that “I need a break” urge

  • The common household patterns that wear down your willpower

  • And most importantly—6 simple things you can do to make your environment support your goals, not destroy them

You don’t need a Pinterest-worthy house. You need a space that lets you breathe.
You’ll hear real-life, messy, relatable examples—like:

  • Why there are 77 shoes in the mudroom (with only 5 people in the house)

  • The Ninja Creamy that hasn’t moved in months

  • How to stop "moving" things and start putting them away

If you’ve ever thought, “I know what to do, I’m just not doing it”—this episode will hit home. HARD.

🔑 In This Episode You’ll Learn:

  • The overlooked link between clutter and cravings

  • The sneaky ways your space increases stress and sabotages progress

  • 6 actionable, doable, non-overwhelming ways to reclaim peace in your environment

Dec 6, 2025

It’s easy to get caught up in all the health trends—saunas, red light therapy, cold plunges, expensive supplements—but at the end of the day, nothing will trump the basics.

In this episode, I’m walking you through two lifestyle changes I’ve made recently that are supporting my health in a big way. One is a little “crunchy,” and one is super accessible. Neither replaces the big rocks of health (like reducing processed foods, stabilizing blood sugar, managing stress, and getting good sleep), but both have helped me reinforce the foundation.

Here’s what we dive into:

  • Why I started milling our own flour (and what you’re really getting in store-bought flour)

  • What “bleached” flour actually means—and what that’s doing to your body

  • What’s really in dough conditioners (and why you want to avoid them)

  • How fresh-milled flour tastes better, saves money, and massively improves nutrient density

  • The simple morning fiber drink I take with psyllium husk and citrus

  • How fiber helps you detox and reduce inflammation

  • Why detox pathways matter for fat loss, hormones, and inflammation

And most importantly, how to stop chasing trends and come back to the daily practices that actually move the needle.

Episode Summary:
I recently decided to go back into a weight loss phase, and in this episode, I’m telling you exactly why.
Spoiler alert: it’s not because I hate my body or feel like a failure—it’s because of what I learned about how excess body fat impacts your brain, your long-term health, and your everyday clarity, energy, and decision-making.

We’ll talk about:

  • Why “feeling fine” can actually be a red flag if it keeps you stuck in complacency

  • What I’m changing—even though I was already eating well and exercising

  • How excess fat reduces brain volume, blood flow, and function (even if you feel healthy)

  • Why your brain is absolutely capable of healing and what it needs to do that

  • The real meaning of anti-inflammatory weight loss (and it’s not just about food)

I’m also answering some of the biggest questions that come up around inflammation and weight, including:

  • Can you heal your brain if damage has already been done?

  • What if you know you need to lose weight but you’re just not ready?

You’re not avoiding the scale.
You’re not avoiding the bank statement.
You’re not avoiding the hard conversation or the overflowing inbox.

You’re avoiding how you think you’ll feel when you see it.

But here’s the truth:
You already feel that way.

You already feel heavy.
You already feel ashamed.
You already feel anxious and behind and overwhelmed.

Avoidance doesn’t protect you — it prolongs your suffering.
It doesn’t delay the pain — it drains you slowly while convincing you that you’re safe.

In this episode, we’re unpacking:

  • Why avoidance feels like safety but functions like a trap

  • What you’re really running from (hint: it’s not the number)

  • Why facing it now is easier than carrying it another day

  • And how to start moving forward — even if you’re scared

This is the wake-up call for anyone avoiding the thing they know they need to face.
The number. The truth. The next step.

If you're ready to stop circling the truth and start standing in it — this one’s for you.

This is the time of year when most people hit pause on their goals.
They drift.
They defer.
They tell themselves, “I’ll get serious again in January.”

But what if this season — the one most people treat like an exception — could actually be your turning point?

In this episode, I’m talking about what I call Separation Season — the window of time between now and the New Year when small daily choices stack up and create the gap between stuck and unstoppable.
And spoiler alert: it’s not about being perfect. It’s about recommitting, over and over again, in small ways that move the needle.

But that’s not all…

🚨 I’m Also Announcing My Biggest Coaching Offer Ever

For the first time ever, I’m giving you the opportunity to:

✅ Reserve your spot in the January–February cohort of DEFENSE (my 8-week coaching experience where we co-create your personalized defensive playbook),
AND
✅ Get an entire month of 1:1 coaching with me via Voxercompletely free.

That’s right:
🎁 $5,000 worth of private coaching — totally free when you claim one of the 10 available spots.

Here’s what that means:
For the entire month of December (excluding Christmas Eve & Day), you’ll have Monday–Friday access to me via voice messaging.
You’ll be able to reach out, talk through challenges, get feedback, and build momentum with me in your back pocket — before the group coaching even begins in January.

And no, this isn’t a scaled-down version. This is daily, direct access to me — real coaching, real-time.

“Everybody wants to heal… until the medicine shows up in the form of discipline.”
– Hippocrates (400 B.C.)

Why is it so hard to do the things we say we want to do?

In today’s episode, we’re digging into one of the biggest struggles so many of us face: discipline. Not just why it’s hard—but why it can feel almost impossible in today’s world.

We’re not lazy. We’re not broken.
We’re living in a world designed to hijack our brains through overstimulation and constant dopamine hits—from social media, processed food, streaming content, even the kind of books we read.

In this episode, I’ll walk you through:

  • Why discipline feels harder than ever (hint: it’s not your fault)

  • How dopamine and your brain’s salience network make high-stimulation things feel more important than your goals

  • What makes your brain highlight some things (and ignore others)

  • Why real connection, presence, and long-term goals feel boring when you’re overstimulated

  • How to retrain your brain so discipline feels easier, not harder

This isn’t about going off the grid or giving up your phone.
It’s about making discipline feel possible again—by making life just a little bit quieter.

🔑 Key Takeaways:

  • Your brain highlights what gives you the most dopamine (this is called salience)

  • Overstimulation rewires your motivation—it prioritizes scrolling over sleep, Netflix over goals

  • The solution isn’t “more willpower”—it’s less noise

  • You can rewire your salience network with small, doable changes:

    • Less screen time

    • More walks and movement (without your phone)

    • More whole foods, less ultra-processed stuff

    • Reducing high-dopamine distractions (yes, even the “harmless” ones)

🛠️ Challenge for Today:

Ask yourself:

  1. What got my attention today?

  2. What felt most important?

  3. Did it reflect the life I’m trying to build?

If not—good news. You can change what your brain highlights, one small shift at a time.

We all know what all looks like — strict rules, clean eating, heavy discipline.
And we definitely know what nothing looks like — throwing in the towel and saying, “Whatever, I’ll start over Monday.”

But what about the middle?
Why does it feel so hard to define… let alone stay in?

In today’s episode, I’m unpacking a powerful conversation I had with a client who said something so many of us feel:

“Navigating the middle feels lost — like no direction. It feels like too much freedom and an impossible place to navigate.”

Especially this time of year — when schedules are packed, events are frequent, and temptations are everywhere — the middle can feel impossible.

We’re talking about:

  • Why "the middle" feels so elusive

  • What to do when you don’t hold the line

  • How to adjust your goals without abandoning them

  • Why re-engagement matters more than perfection

  • And how to stay in the game — even when you miss the mark

This is not about following a perfect plan.
It’s about building the resilience to keep going when life gets loud.
